Guanajuato Program

Guanajuato

Summer Language Program in
Guanajuato, México

The CSUSB Guanajuato Summer Language Program provides an excellent setting for students, teachers and others interested in studying Spanish, to experience our neighbor's culture, or to earn college credit toward a degree or teacher certification. Students will have ample opportunity to visit various colonial sites and historical archaeological zones. In addition, courses are designed so that students can interact with the language and culture in authentic daily life situations

Guanajuato is a colonial city in the heart of Mexico's colonial past. UNESCO designated Guanajuato a World Heritage Zone in 1988. The ancient walls and the Old World charm attract visitors from many parts of the world. Estudiantinas, or strolling minstrels, enrich the medieval ambience with an air of celebration and memories of a bygone era.
