You are invited to participate in the following annual events. Ask your teacher about receiving extra credit for participating!

Spanish Tutor Center - UH 201.32 - (check posted schedule at door) Senior Spanish students are available to assist you with homework and other assignments.

La mesa española - The Spanish Table (check available times and locations at FLAGS) Senior Spanish students will help you increase your fluency and vocabulary in Spanish.

Latino Culture Film Festival - Every Thursday, 8 PM, in PS 10. See current and classic films that deal with Spain, Latin America, and the United States.

El Día de los Muertos - Come celebrate the Day of the Dead in late October/early November! Exact date and times coming soon.

El Día Latino - The department shares cultural information, music, and food from different Spanish-speaking countries. Date and times to be posted soon.

El Cinco de Mayo - Join us for music, dancing, and food! And find out why this day is celebrated. Date and time pending.

Spanish Major and Minor Meetings - This is a required meeting for all Spanish majors and minors. Days/Times/Location to be announced.

Spanish Master's Program Informational Meeting - Learn about the Spanish Master's program at CSUSB. Ongoing informational meetings will be held throughout the quarter. See FLAGS for dates and times.

Quarterly visit to Tijuana, Mexico - This trip is not available until further notice. Please check back.

Teatro Universitario en Español - Join this wonderful student organization and be a part of the group's next Spanish Theater performances. Contact Prof. Hernández at extension 5848 or mhernand@csusb.edu for more information.

Guanajuato Summer Language Program - Ongoing informational sessions throughout the quarter. For more information, please see Prof. Gallegos-Ruiz, or contact her at (909) 537-5858 or at agallrui@csusb.edu.

Peru Program - Begin classes in the Spring Quarter at CSUSB and continue them in Peru! An informational DVD on the Peru Program is available in the Multimedia Language Center, UH-007; or, for more information, contact Prof. Whitaker at (909) 537-5855 or dwhitake@csusb.edu.

College of Arts & Letters Graduation - In the Coussoulis Arena, followed by the Liberal Studies Graduation. Celebrate with a graduate!
