I love languages.  I’m in charge of the German section but I speak, and have taught, French at Cal-State San Bernardino as well.  It’s important to me to make connections and see unusual relationships. As a comparatist, I use my research to bring together aspects of language, culture, mythology and other disciplines to examine the human condition. My hero is Leonardo da Vinci.
