Gaby Semaan

Gaby Semaan completed his doctoral degree in Communication Studies from Bowling Green State University in 2007. His specialty is Intercultural Communication with cognates in Language Teaching Methodologies and Philosophy of Education. He holds a Masters in English with emphasis in ESL and Bachelors in Journalism. Dr. Semaan has been teaching at university level since 2001 and uses an interdisciplinary approach in his classes. His classes are in the disciplines of Language and Communication.

He has taught a variety of courses including Arabic language courses, ESL, English composition, public speaking, small group communication in addition to intercultural communication with emphasis on the Arab culture. Gaby is an active presenter in local and national conferences about issues pertaining to intercultural communication in addition to technology and language teaching/learning.
